Question: I m a married woman. I have missed my periods by 17 days.. I have done three UPT. One I did a week after the expected menses date. Second 2 days after that and a third one 2 weeks past expected date. Is it safe for me to take medroxyprogesterone to regulate my cycle?

Brief Answer:
withdrawal bleed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
If your all three UPT were negative then pregnancy is safely ruled out and now as on today you are 17 days post missed period and menses have not returned , then you can safely opt for withdrawal bleed with progesterones. You can take TAB MEDROXYPROGESTERONE ACETATE 10mg twice day FOR NEXT 5 DAYS and then wait for the withdrawal bleed to occur in next 5-7 days from the day of the last dose of MPA.
