Can MegaRed Cause Elevated Heart Rate?
Question: I started taking megared 4 in 1 about a week ago. I have developed a pulsation in the right side of my neck that can be seen when looking in a mirror. I have no pain or any other changes. Could this be the results of taking this medication?
Brief Answer:
Megared does not directly cause a rapid pulse.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HealthcareMagic,
Megared contains Omega-3 fatty acids sourced from Krill.
It does not directly cause a rapid pulse.
But it is possible it can lead to indigestion since it is high fat---this can cause bloating, pressure on the heart and rapid pulse.
Please try the following--
Stop Megared for a week.
Take a good liquid antacid containing Simethicone plus enzyme preparation containing activated charcoal--both twice a day.
Feel free to also revert back with the doppler report which will rule out any local cause.
Regards
