Can Metformin Be Taken Along With Smartova For Ovulation Induction?

Question: Hi I took smartova from 3rd day of my period for 5 days. I am also on Metformin. I did ovulate and we are trying to conceive. I am now 39 days (normal cycle 31-34 days). Is it because of Metformin that i didn't get my period? Is it possible to not get periods after taking Smartova? I was on Smartova in XXXXXXX and Feb but i wasn't on Metformin. I got my periods in those two months. This month i took Metformin and the periods have not started.

In my opinion do a urine pregnancy test and let me know the results.
It is a better combination to take metformin along with smart ova and thus increases chances of conception manifold.

Hi doctor..thabks for the quick response. I did the test today, it is negative. Is it possible to not get periods even after takinv Smartova? Background: i have pcos and tiny fibroids. No thyroid thought.

Yes PCOD patients can have delayed periods after smart ova.
Just stop all the medicine and wait for a week for periods.
