Can Metronidazole Be Taken While On Pristiq And Synthroid?

Question: I am a sixty one year old female taking low dose pristiq and low dose synthroid. Recently, for first time was diagnosed with colitis for first time in life. Not given information regarding which bacterium I am infected with. I am taking metronidazole twice daily, and wonder about drug interactions. Are there any with synthroid or pristiq?

the drugs that you've mentioned have no serious interaction between them. I know you've mentioned no alcohol consumption but I'd like to emphasize the fact that metronidazole interacts with alcohol (ethanol) and should be avoided until at least 3 days after stopping metronidazole.
