Brief Answer:
Its very unusual reaction, but seen.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.

I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Morphine is not commonly known to cause psychotic symptoms.
2. Its rather unusual, but hallucinations, agitation are rarely seen.
3. However, more commonly oxycontin and rarely prednisone - steroid induced psychosis.. Both can cause psychosis.

Now that you had a allergic reaction, stay away from morphine and any derivatives and always remember to point out to everyone.

Hope you are well now.

Any further queries, happy to help again.
