Question : Hi, I took a nurofen plus at 8pm it's now 3:45am and I'm vomiting with a migraine. Is it ok to take 2 nurofen migraine tablets now?

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Nurofen plus is Ibuprofen 200mg, codeine phosphate 12.8mg.
Ibuprofen 400 mg PO q3–4h can be taken for treatment of Acute Migraine.
Codeine dose 30–60 mg q 4 h ;a narcotic analgesic-drug for relief of pain.
Hence you can safely take the second dose but take with some antacid e.g pantoprazole or ranitidine.
