Endoscopy and gastroscope report said mild duodenitis but positive for h.pylori. How long should I continue with omeprazole? I'm in discomfort and it doesn't seem to be helping. Gurgling noises when I lie down, general discomfort throughout abdomen, quite bloated.
Brief Answer:
need IBS treatment with tinidazole. needs H. pylori testing

I really appreciate your followup.
do you have diarrhoae or constipation?
Based upon the your symptoms it seems to be irritable bowel syndrome.Apart from IRRITABLE BOWEL SYDROME treatment, If i am your attending physician , i will definitely prescribe TINIDAZOLE . If you are experiencing pain then there is need to test you for H. PYLORI REINFECTION. Fecal stool antigen and urea breath test should be done for it.
Meet your Gastroentrologist so that you can be properly assessed. There is need to test S. AMYLASE , FULL BLOOD COUNT WITH ESR, H. PYLORI TESTING and ULTRASOUND SCAN of abdomen and pelvis.
Meanwhile stay calm
Get well soon
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
