Question: Hi can I give my daughter pepto bismol if she had gravol already, in the span of an hour or less? She's six

We are flying tomorrow morning, my daughter has an upset stomach due to food intolerances (she ate cheese at birthday party), has a slight fever 37.9, get a bit motion sickness when traveling. I don't normally give her gravol when traveling, but thought it would help her tomorrow. But if she's nauseous before we leave then thought I'd try giving her pepto bismol. Thoughts?

Thanks for writing back. ORS (oral rehydration solution) would be the mainstay of treatment. Gravol can be given. Peptobismol can be given if required. Alternatively, you can get some prescription antiemetics like ondansetron written down by your treating physician.
