The dosage pf pramipexole I take is 1 MG. It works well at night but the burning is now also occuring during the day. I can't take most others meds that are used because of serious reactions to them. My only concern is that if I take the pramipexole in the daytime, I might get too sleepy to function. That is why I needed to ask my question. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
Can make changes to 0.75mg twice daily, but only after doctors prescription
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.
Thank you for the information.
The recommended dose for your condition is between 0.75 mg to about 4-5 mg, but the dosage recommendations state that you need to take one tablet orally once a day (best at night).
But as you have been experiencing some amount of burning during the day time as well, I would have change the dosage to about 0.75 mg twice a day orally. But I can do this only if I were your doctor, and so I would recommend you to visit your prescribing doctor for the change in prescription, and not advice you to make the change on your own as it is best to go through this under supervision.
I hope and pray you experience a rapid and complete recovery. Please also do not hesitate to writ back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
