Can Primolut N Help In Delaying Menstruation?

Question: Hi doctor-
I am going on a diving trip from 17-23rd of November and my due date for next menstrual cycle are 18-24 November. I have regular periods with a cycle of 28-30 days. Today is the last day of my menstrual cycle for the month of October. I would like to PREPONE my periods (schedule it for 11th-16th November). Is there any drug available for this purpose? I know about postponing periods using Primolut N and have used it before. But I want to really get over with my periods before my trip so I don't have any water retention issues as that can cause problems during my diving classes. Please suggest.

Brief Answer:
Primolut N can be used for both.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Primolut N (Norethisterone) can be used both for preponing and postponing periods.
For preponing periods you have to take at least 10 days before the expected date of your period. You are most likely to get a period within 3 days after stopping the drug.
You can consult your gynecologist or GP for prescription of it.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
