General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
If you were prescribed Norethisterone to stop the bleeding while you were still adjusting to Microgynon 30, it is possible that stopping Norethisterone could cause the bleeding to start again. However, this is not always the case, and the risk of bleeding after stopping Norethisterone can vary from person to person.
It is important to follow your doctor's instructions and continue taking Microgynon 30 as prescribed. If you have concerns about bleeding or any other side effects, you should talk to your doctor or healthcare provider. They can help you determine the best course of action and adjust your treatment plan if necessary.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
