Can Primolut N Tablet Be Used To Delay The Periods?
Question: Hii... I have a 9th months baby and on breastfeeding my baby. My question is that I want to delay my periods till March 31st. I have delivered in July and got my 1st periods on Feb 7th. I haven't got the periods in March. Now I want to delay my periods till March end.
Can I use primolut N tab in order to delay my periods.
Since I am breastfeeding my baby, will it effect my baby?? If not please let me know how many times a day can I use this tablet and from when can I start it??

Well yes, technically speaking, you can use Primolut N tablet to delay your periods.
Generally 1 tablet ( 10 mg ) twice a day is taken to delay cycles.
You should start them right away and continue using them till a specific date, on which you do not wish to menstruate.
For example, if you wish to avoid bleeding till 31st of March , continue taking them until 31st of March.
once you stop, you will have withdrawal bleeding within a week at the most.
Also, this is a prescription medication, it is best to consult your gynec before starting it.
Could you let me know a few more details -
1. Are you sexually active , if yes, are you using contraception ?
I am asking this because you should be very sure that you are not pregnant, and then take the medication to delay your period.
2. What is your height and weight ? That might change the dosage required .
Dont worry, it will not affect your baby, even if you are breastfeeding.
