Can Proactiv Products Be Used During Pregnancy?
Question: Hello I am six months pregnant and have been using proactive products. I have recently been told it is unsafe to use while pregnant. Just want to put my mind at ease. And have a solid answer on if I should stop using the product and if it is safe to continue for use. Thank you!

Benzoyl Peroxide
Salicilic acid
Benzoyl peroxide, which is used in some of Proactiv’s main products, is considered safe for use during pregnancy according to the XXXXXXX Pregnancy Association.
Although high doses of salicylic acid are not recommended during pregnancy, a small amount used once or twice a day may be safe.
Hence you can use proactive products during pregnancy.
