Can STD And HIV Be Contracted Through Protected Oral And Vaginal Sex?

Question: Hello Doctor, I had protected sex and oral sex with 2 girls in Palace night club and XXXX club in XXXX. This is the first time I had and I am really tensed. It was 10 days ago. I had burning sensation for couple of days during urination and it went away automatically. I don't have any symptoms now. Do i need to get tested for Hiv and STD, I am newly married and i am not having sex with my wife till my doubt is cleared. This is the biggest mistake iever did. Can you please advise on the same. I had protected sex with condom vaginally sex and oral unprotected sex (she gave me a blow job and I kissed on her vagina). This is killing me why I did.
Brief Answer:
I would suggest comprehensive STD screening
Detailed Answer:
Hello . Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic.
Yes you do need to screen for all STDs including Herpes, Syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and HIV to exclude all possibilities of an STD, no matter how less likely.
Protected vaginal sex is protective against HIV, gonorrhea and chlamydia however it is not completely protective against herpes, syphilis and hpv infection.
Moreover unprotected receptive oral sex though a lower risk activity as compared to vaginal sex still carries a risk of herpes, hiv, syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia.
