Question: Can you realistically get an STD from a hand job? I have been going out of my mind as I have been manipulating my penis so the point where I think I am suffering from something but there is no evidence of and STD, except the tip of my penis appearing more red than normal (likely due to excessive manipulation)
Can you have psychosomatic symptons?

Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

STD is where one of the partner is infective. Most often the pathogens residing in the genitals, oral cavity or anal cavity are transferred in STDs.

Excessive manipulation by own hands does not lead to STDs. There could be frictional injury. The redness you complain could be due to excessive manipulation, reversed only on stopping or reducing the act.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.
