Can STD Be Contracted Through Unprotected Oral And Vaginal Sex?
I had unprotected oral and vaginal sex with a woman who has had 30+partners.This happened on March 3rd. I got tested a week after and all things came back negative.
I was given Azithromycin 500 mg when I went and Gonorrhea shot as a precaution, as I had burning on my tongue, throat, and penis.
About a month later (March 29) I was still experiencing burning and went to an urgent care and given ten days of Doxycycline. It helped but not gone away.
I am getting retested for everything in XXXXXXX However I still have occasional burning in my throat, tip of my penis, and front of tongue. In my area, North east Tennessee, we have had some bad stomach bugs and pollen. so self diagnosis hasn't been easy. However, I have developed the following symptoms:
-tightness in my throat with internal itching.
-occasional bumps in my mouth of same color as my mouth.
-Roughness on the softplate
-A raised bump next to the urethral opening. Barely noticeable measuring 7mm long and 4mm width.
-Heaviness on my right abdomen.
-Feeling nauseated right after I eating anything. (no changes in color of my urine though occasional Right upper quadrant pain).
Is the burning possibly undiagnosed Gonorrhea? Is the occasional bump in my mouth or the one on my penis a sign of HPV?
Finally I am waiting to get retested before I see a PCP to rule out any std.
Forgot to mention I have had small swelling in my right armpit.
Supportive care, no worries
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
i read your question and i understand your concern. Unprotected coitus followed by twice screening for STDs both time negative should be pretty much conclusive and if god forbid you even contracted gonorrhea and was missed in labs, you got treatment twice and it should fix it.
As you yourself said pollens and allergens in your area, so that is likely causing the throat symptoms and hence not HPV but a mere allergic airways problem. Salt eater gargles and a few antihistamines will do the trick.
Swelling in armpit should be examined, it could be a slightly inflamed node likely due to local axillary causes like hair growth or some infection like hydradenitis suppurativa if painful. ANy how most ikely enign and self resolving so give it some time.
Bump on the urethral opening could be merely swollen meatus, possible from previous urethritis or active ones, or mere friction during coitus or masurbation can cause it. It could be a fordyce spot too, if the burning micturition is there, i would suggest a urine routine exam to rule out UTI as nauseating feeling, burning micturition may suggest a UTI.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
