Can Shelcal And Fefol-Z Be Taken For Hair Loss?

Question: Hi Doc,

Someone prescirbed shelcal and fefolz for my hair fall, is it fine to take. I have controlled hypothyrodism and 40 yrs.

Thanks for posting your query.

There is no use from shellcal for hair fall. Fefol contains Iron which can be helpful for hair fall if you have Iron deficiency.

My advise is to continue FefolZ but shelcal can be stopped if it was prescribed only for hair fall.

Hi Doc, thanks for the reply.

There was no test for iron deficiency done.. so no harm in taking it on daily basis right. I am healthy and have no other issues.
