Can Siphene Increase The Chances Of Conception?

Posted on Wed, 16 Aug 2017
Question: Hi - I had a 22 week still birth 7 months back due to PIH/ placental abruption. There was recurring SCH throughout the pregnancy. All the blood test results for Thrombophilia profile/ ANA etc., have come out normal. Uterus , ovaries are normal and my periods are fairly regular b/w 28 and 33 days. We tried naturally for 3 cycles with no results. My gynaecologist has recommended that I go on Siphene 50mg though. Does it make sense to go on Siphene without PCOS?

Brief Answer:
Ovulation induction can be taken

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
If one is unable to conceive naturally, then it is recommended to take ovulation induction with siphene or letrozole to increase the chances of conception. PCOS is not always a criteria to take siphene.
I will suggest you to go for siphene to increase the chances of pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
