Brief Answer:
You can follow the cardiologist's advice confidently

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
Amiodarone was started for a abnormal rhythm of the heart. Sotolol is another antiarrhythmic medicine. If your cardiologist who started you on Amiodarone advised the change over, he/she knows the arrhythmia and any danger that may be present. If you have the Holter report based on which Amiodarone was started, please upload it and I shall give my opinion.

Hello XXXXXXX
I think there is some error.
Hope you got my reply.
In short, if your cardiologist has advised you to change from Amiodarone to Sotolol, you can do so as both are antiarrhythmic medicines.
