Can Suboxone And Xanax Be Taken On The Same Day?
Question: If i took a 8mg of suboxone at 7am can i take a 2mg of xanax at 9pm

I would also like to know the reason for using Xanax?Since how long?Was it prescribed by your doctor?This is important since 2mg is a high dose.

I take xanax 2mg 3 times a day for anxiety. I also take lamictel and Wellbutrin for depression. Unfortunately I got addicted to norco after my hysterectomy so the suboxone is to get off but my dr said not to take the suboxone and xanax together. My panic attacks are so bad tho. I feel horrible. Just wondering if I can take the suboxone in the morning and a xanax right before bed. I only take 1 8mg suboxone in the early morning

At the first place cause of your symptoms needs to be differentiated.They can be due to anxiety/panic, depression or drug withdrawal symptoms which becomes the core of further management.
I were to suggest not to use both Suboxone and Xanax for 2 reasons-
a. There might be chances of respiratory depression.Hence cautioned.
b. Xanax need not taken because of the fact that wellburtin and lamictel patially take care of your panic/anxiety symptoms.
In case your symptoms are intolerable I would suggest an antianxiety drug from other class(low dose propranolol).
I recommend gradual withdrawal of Xanax as advised by your doctor as early as possible.
