Can Tramadol And Promethazine Be Taken Together?

Question: I took 75 mg of tramadol at 4 pm. I have a migrane with nausea. can I take half of a 25 mg promethazine. it is now 8 pm

Yes you can safely take the half tab of promethazine, but I'd advice you to wait for another 2 hrs to let the Tramadol take full effect before taking anything else..meanwhile you can simply take Tab Ondansetron(ZOFRAN) 8 mg stat for nausea, it'll help to reduce it..

Stay well hydrated by drinking lot of water.. avoid caffeinated drinks..

Please go back and carefully read my advises , then you'll find that I never told to wait another 2 hours to take the half of Promethazine, but actually advised you to wait for another 2 hrs to let the Tramadol take the full effect, there's a lot of difference between this which i hope you'd understand in this small window of advises..
