Brief Answer:
Can be used with caution

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

Amlopress-AT is a combination drug containing a calcium channel blocker and a beta blocker. Viagra is not contraindicated but it has to be used with caution as it can cause hypotension. I recommend that you start with a low dose first and then increase as when required if tolerated. Most of my patients have tolerated this well without any complications.

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Thanks for your reply, however my fear still remains as many articles state that Viagra may not be taken alongwith drugs for hypertension having amlopidine & telenor.

Also pls tell whether Viagra is to be taken everyday for ESD cure or it has to be taken as and when required.

Brief Answer:
TO be taken with caution

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back

It is true that Viagra interacts with anti hypertensives, that is why it has to be used with caution.

Viagra should only be used as and when required. It has to be taken half hour to one hour before anticipated coitus. Please do not use it daily. It is not a cure for erectile dysfunction, it only helps with erection
