Analgesic (Vicodin) and Mecobalamine is useful.

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You may be having lumbar spondylosis as it is common in your age which may be causing sciatica on left side. Your left shoulder may be due to frozen/ freezing shoulder as it is common affection. As you have responded very well with Vicodin so can take it after consulting your doctor as it is a prescription medicine. You are likely to be benefitted by bed rest in lateral position and Mecobalamine for sciatica. It can be further investigated by MRI.

You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
