Brief Answer:
it needs investigation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

although wal-som contains calcium, I don't believe it's the cause of your calcium elevation. If it contained that much calcium then it should have a warning on it.

Measuring your PTH, calcium and phosphorus levels would help in the investigation of this finding. Sometimes technical issues may cause a slight elevation.

Kind Regards!

I do take one Wal-Som every night and I have done this for at least 7 years. Could it (calcium) be building up in my system? I am quitting this sleep medication.

Brief Answer:
you can quit, if you'd like

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I don't believe so. You can quit it and check your calcium after a few days to be sure. But I suggest you to also check your PTH.

Kind Regards!
