Hi,
Thanks for writing back.
I belive there is no medication named Zantex.
I consider it to be XANAX a sleeping pill.
Taking 20mg of Xanax and 40 mg of Celexa can cause serious sedation. Though not life threatening can induce sleep for many hours and also can result in addition of each other's side effects.

Thanks, my typo. Any concerns with Celexa, 40 mg, such as respiratory or heart complications? If so, what precautions should be taken? Thanks
Brief Answer:
With such dosage there would be no risk
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thansk for writing back.
40mg is a therapeutic dosage of Celexa. There would be no serious complications if taken alone. But when taken with other sedatives in high dose one can have serious side effects pertaining to consciousness and can go into respiratory depression in heavy dose consumption.

What about the FDA 2011 & 2012 FDA advisories?
Brief Answer:
Long term use
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back.
Long term consumption of Celexa at or over 40 mg can cause heart rhythm disturbances.
In case you are adding a higher dose sedative, the central nervous system symptoms would be a more possible occurrence with high probability than cardiac side effects.
