Can Z-Pak Be Taken When Allergic To Sulfa Drugs?

Question: I am on prednisone and methotrexate for GCA and RA and keep getting infections due to compromised immune system. My sed rate is 70 so MD gave me prn Z Pack. I now feel it may be UTI. can I use Z Pack? I am allergic to Sulfa Drugs
