The association of cancer with breast implant is virtually nonexistent although in a very small number of patients worldwide there has been reports of anaplastic large cell lymphoma but whether these were a result of the implants no one knows. Therefore, it is still doubtful whether these increase the risk of breast cancer or not. Regarding mental illness the implants do not increase the same but many patients with mental illnesses actually look forward to the use of breast implants.
