Can A Person Get Chlamydia From Body Fluids? Have Been Tested Negative From Chlamydia

Thanks for your query.
Any sexually active person can be infected with chlamydia. The greater the number of sex partners, the greater the risk of infection. Because the cervix (opening to the uterus) of teenage girls and young women is not fully matured and is probably more susceptible to infection, they are at particularly high risk for infection if sexually active.
Chlamydia is known as a "silent" disease because the majority of infected people have no symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they usually appear within 1 to 3 weeks after exposure.
Men with signs or symptoms might have a discharge from their penis or a burning sensation when urinating. Men might also have burning and itching around the opening of the penis. Chlamydia can also be found in the throats of women and men having oral sexual intercourse with an infected partner.
In women, untreated infection can spread into the uterus or fallopian tubes and cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).
So the guy who is not your boy friend might have got it by following possibilities:
1) Previous sexual act with chlamydia infected partner sometime back.
2) From you if your test has shown false negative result.
Hence I would recommend you get tested again by following method:
1) Chlamydia test on urine ( you might have done that now)
2) Get swab culture or PCR test for sample of your secretions around cervix (Part of uterus inside vagina)
I recommend you and your partners to get treated for chlamydia. Chlamydia can be easily treated and cured with antibiotics. Your Gynecologist can prescribe you a single dose of azithromycin or a week of doxycycline (twice daily) which are the most commonly used treatments.
All of your sexual partners should be evaluated, tested, and treated. Persons with chlamydia should abstain from sexual intercourse for 7 days after single dose antibiotics or until completion of a 7-day course of antibiotics, to prevent spreading the infection to partners.
If your sexual partners have not been appropriately treated are at high risk for re-infection. Having multiple infections increases a your risk of serious reproductive health complications, including infertility.
Women and men with chlamydia should be retested about three months after treatment of an initial infection, regardless of whether they believe that their sexual partners were treated.
Plese donot ignore the advice as it is a serious infection which can affect your reproductive career and future ability to produce children.

Thanks for reverting back.
You are right. Your other new guy must have got it from previous relation and might be transmitting you.
Your test might have come negative as you might be in window period (time required for Chlamydia to grow fully and come positive in urine test).
You need to go to your gynecologist and get other test done as it is important to diagnose and get prescription for antibiotic as soon as possible.
Chlamydia might flare up again or you may contract it again. Please try to use condom while having sex.
