Question: I am a 46 yo male. 5'10 185 lbs. I am in excellent physical condition. I was diagnosed with MVP with mild regurge at 21 years of age. Just 2 years ago the regurgitation changed to moderate. I have no symptoms, my heart function and size are normal. I get annual echos done. I jog 5k 2 times per week and weight train 2 times per week. I use free weights and perform all movements wothout straining. Ive done this routine my whole adult life and have stayed in excellent condition because of it. Should I have any concerms about weight lifting as part of my regimine?
