Brief Answer:
Oligoconal bands are not usual in fibromyalgia.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms, and the detailed description did help.
Regarding oligoconal bands in CSF, they are not commonly seen in fibromyalgia. However, they are not specific for multiple sclerosis (MS) either, as they can be seen in a variety of inflammatory and infective disorders of nervous system.
I have also gone through your MRI brain report, which is not suggestive of MS.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,

Brief Answer:
Other inflammatory diseases
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
It could be other inflammatory diseases of the nervous system. This would require further testing such as nerve conduction studies, nerve biopsy, etc (after a detailed neurological examination).
I have noted your MRI report, and it is not suggestive of MS, as per the diagnostic criteria.
If the symptoms have worsened since the last MRI, it may be repeated.
Best wishes,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
