Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that there is not any specific distance, based on the weight. Usually it is recommended to continue up to 15 minutes.

As long as you do not have any heart disorders, you can continue until you feel shortness of breath.

The distance tolerated by your body, depends on your physical performance. This means that if you have not been training lately, it is better to start walking for 5 minutes and increase the time day by day, as tolerated by your body.

This will avoid muscle pain and also will be better tolerated by your heart.

The more you will be active, the longer will be the distance that you will walk, without experiencing shortness of breath.

Anyway, walking on the fresh air or aerobics would be more healthy compared to walking on a treadmill.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

These blood count findings are not indicative of cancer.

They are just indicative of a bacterial infection.

For this reason, I would recommend further tests to investigate
for the type of infection and the location:

- a chest X ray study
- a urine analysis and urine bacterial culture
- a blood bacterial culture
- a stool analysis.

Antibiotics may be needed.

You should discuss with your doctor on these tests.

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
