So I keep telling myself that it's just anxiety and I start to relax. Past 48 hours I have had higher anxiety levels.
Anyway today I had an anxious moment after a physical exertion moment triggered a sensation. I carried 50 lbs of salt into storage and after I set them down I was limited to my air inhilation My chest felt tight and like it had only so much space to expand or take in. Is this normal to the anxiety. I recall this when it first began months ago.

Brief Answer:
Physical exertion added the discomfort caused by anxiety.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on HCM.
I can understand your concern.
Sorry for late reply.
So again I think anxiety is the main issue for your current symptoms.
Worsening anxiety since last 2 days plus physical exertion are the likely culprit at present for your breathlessness.
So adding up of these two is bad for you.
Better to avoid this in future.
Hope I have solved your query.

Where I want to go about my usual activities with vim and vigor. I will have to go about with calm and slow relaxed exertion. I am not sure if I mentioned it but I also am a stage musician Tonight we had a performance. I am on my way home from it now. I have been really relaxed throughout the night.
I really have just the one concern anymore and that is the limited inhale after a bit of exertion. I am hoping it is the effects of long term exposure to anxiety hormones and that riddance of those will ease my breathing

In the past 15 years , I have visited with 4 pulminologists , your the current, 1 pulminologist assistant, 1 respiratory therapist, 3 psychiatrist s, 1general practitioner and 1 internist. With the exception of the first two pulminologists, all the rest have indicated the same feelings to my issues. Anxiety must be the culprit to it. GAD anxiety makes me question everything, probably because I've filled my head with too many health Maladies and also that I do not recover as I want to. Some years back, I was fretting over my heart because of anxiety, today it's my chest and the inspiration amount I get in. The heart issue surfaced after I had a check up that was not heart attack related but was a collateral circulation issue. The lung issue I wonder about its relation to watching my mother die from copd/emphysema and from my first pft that said minor ventilary defect. If I can figure out how to beat this as I did the heart, maybe I can go forward happy
Brief Answer:
Are you feeling good after spending time in music?

To answer your questions, yes to all three, except when watching sports i can actually start to have anxiety sensations. I used to like playing sports, now I get out of breath when playing so when I watch sports that i once liked to play, i sometimes not always get anxious. Working on that one, I try to tell myself that as we age we all cant play the sports we once did.
I may sound as if I am going nowhere with getting through this but actually I am. Thanks for always responding. I will leave you this time with one question that I think I have asked but have forgotten to write down. Depending on body position, lying.standing etc. I can have inspiration of 4-8 seconds before I freeze up and no more. sometimes I can get almost 11 but not regularly. Because length comes and goes like stress, can the inspiration be affected by anxiety.
Oh, you are very correct, i have to get my mind off my breathing to fix. I am getting all the answers to tell myself all is well dont think of it.

You are feeling comfortable and not breathless while doing things you like.
You are OK when play music or watch sports.
So during all these stuffs, you are so much involved in them that you actually enjoy yourself and forget other things like stress, tension, anxiety etc.
This is the main reason why you are not having breathing difficulty during these activities.
So be yourself, do things which you like, love and wished to do, to avoid stress and anxiety.
Spend more time in music, with God and watching sports.
