Brief Answer:
it does not affect blood sugar

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are some medication that can result in an elevated blood glucose reading. At present augmentin is not known to have that side effect.

The antibiotic associated with increased risk of hyperglycemia is amphotericin B.

Infections can result in an increased blood sugar due to the body's stress response so the infection that is being treated by the augmentin would be responsible for the increase.

You may have to adjust your mediations while the infection is being treated to maintain control.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any additional questions
