Can Baby Aspirin Cause Heavy Menstrual Cycle?
Question: Can baby aspirin cause a heavier menstrual cycle?
Brief Answer:
GENERALLY IT DOES NOT , AT THIS LOW DOSAGE.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Baby aspirin is a very low dose aspirin. Generally at that dose it does not lead to any menstrual complaints.
You should have an internal exam and a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound scan plus Pap smear to know the reason for heavier bleeding. Also get your bleeding and clotting profile done to check if the baby aspirin is leading to this issue, ideally it does not at this low dosage.
All the best
