Can Caramel Flavored Popcorn Be Eaten While Treating Stomach Pain And Acidity?

Question: Hi,

I have hade some issues with my stomach. Pain, acid and generaly not good. I was at the doctor and am under treatment for some gastro reflux and flora issues. It's been 8 days and i am feeling much better.

Was wondering if it's safe to eat some popcorn with mild caramel flavor? Or what king of sweet things are safe?

I am so sorry to hear about gastric reflux. I am happy to know you are doing a lot better. Treatment is meant to make you stronger and not weaker. Popcorn has no effect on gastric reflux and there is no fear eating it. However, if you observe anything abnormal after eating like pain, then only at that time would i say, advisable to stay away from it.

Remember, we may have issues with foods substances that others never report any issues about. The best way is to feel free and only get concerned if something happens that makes us think it may not be the best for us.
