Can Chlamydia Infection Be Contracted Through Unprotected Sex?
Question: hello.
me and my boyfriend were treated for chlamydia 3weeks ago.
just before that and during that time I was spotting for 10 days in total.
we had unprotected sex a day after the 7day round doxicylin( I can't spell)
my period is now a week late and I have a thick white discharge with zero odor
did we infect ourselves again?
and if so is that why my period is late?

The white discharge if in excess may be due to infection.It is better to get examined by your doctor.Investigations for candida, Chlamydia, gonococcal may be needed.
It may be due to any of these infections.
Treatment of both the partners simulateneously is important to prevent recurrence.It is likely to be due to reinfection or inadequate treatment of either of partners.

We took the pills simultaneously except for one day he took his about 5 hours after me and he drank 4 beer.
