yes you can

Hi
Welcome to the healthcaremagic
First evaluate whether breast milk is sufficient. This can be assessed by good weight gain ( 20-30gms/day) and good urine output (8 times in 24 hours). If these are there then no point in thinking of topmilk.
AS FAR AS POSSIBLE BABY SHOULD BE EXCLUSIVELY BREASTFED FOR FIRST SIX MONTHS
You can apply nipcare cream over cracked nipple.
If above criterion are not fulfilling then start complementary topmilk like NAN 1/DEXOLAC 1/ENFAMIL A/SIMILAC ADVANCE.Stop it as soon as nipple becomes normal
Happy to help you
Best regards
