Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son was born in India on 1 Apr 2010. I used to feed him Nestle Lacogen 1. Im in US now and searched a lot to get this product here. but didnt find it. I tried feeding him Similac, Enfamil, Kirkland and even Good start. he is not liking it. He is refusing it to have 1 oz also. Is it advisable to start up with Lactogen? As I have heard that its not recommended product.

Can Lactogen Be Given To A Child?
Hi, You may give lactogen as many as you want, but try to withdraw it slowly by decreasing the dose you give daily and replace it by any other one. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
