Brief Answer:
Not because of blood pressure
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
The redness of the hand is not because of the high blood pressure. If you could attach the photo of the redness I will be able to opine on it. Applying calamine lotion over the area can cause some symptomatic relief.
Your blood pressure is very high, if i were to be your doctor I would have recommend another tablet metoprolol 25mg. I also suggest you to approach your doctor for a revision of your blood pressure medication.
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards

Brief Answer:
irritant dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for getting back with the photo.
It looks like irritant dermatitis to me. Probably something you touched or some new clothes that you are allergic to. Here is what you should do
1. Tab Levocetrizine 10mg twice a day for 5 days is the ideal tablet for you. This tablet might cause mild sedation so please be careful
2. Calamine lotion and Sun screen of SPF 15 should be applied over the area
3. Avoid sun contact
If this does not settle down in 5 days please see a dermatologist
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
