Brief Answer:
hypnosis not likely to help

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. The best treatment for MES is to treat the underlying anxiety and depression. Often with appropriate treatment of anxiety and depression the music will fade in time. The best approach to treatment is to see a psychiatrist for medications (klonopin is not optimal) and to see a therapist for counseling in stress reduction. You can learn techniques to keep you calm even in stressful situations. Exercise is also important. So is a healthy diet. I suggest that you exercise 30-60 minutes daily, it can be just walking. In your diet include fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Take a multivitamin daily and extra vitamin C.
Good luck and I hope you get some relief soon.
