Question: Will I b pregnant if I had sex after 3 days of my last day of period..? Also I took unwanted72 within 48 hours,just to b sure..and now m getting vaginal bleeding.its been 5 days since I took the pill.

Brief Answer: LESS CHANCES OF PREGNANCY Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for writing to us with your health concern. Generally, having sex other than the ovulatory period does not result in a pregnancy. Ovulation occurs on day 14 as a rule if you have a 28 day cycle. So to answer your question, chances of pregnancy are less in your case. ALso, when taken within 48 hours, Unwanted 72 is more than 90 % effective in preventing a pregnancy. So please do not worry, I think you are reasonably well protected. Just to be on the safer side, please take a pregnancy test 3 weeks after unprotected sex. ALso, the vaginal bleeding experienced by you is withdrawal bleeding in response to the hormones in the Unwanted 72. All the best Please feel free to discuss further.

Hi doctor,I wanted to know more about the withdrawal bleeding..actually I am a lil scared seeing so much blood coz this does not feel like normal periods..i wanted to know how long should this last normally?
