Hemp oil can contain as much as 70% of polyunsaturated fats ( PUFA ) and this much fat along with other fats used in your diet for just one month can result in cardiac dysfunctions.
Such a large percentage of PUFA is generally immunosuppressive,which means it reduces the effectiveness of your immune system.
High PUFA can promote the growth of tumours.
In view of the above mentioned facts,it would be better to remain away from hemp oil during chemo or radiation and that too at old age,however it would be better to ask your treating doctor and seek his opinion in this matter.
