Hi,

Progyluton contains both estradiol valerate and norgestrel that is used in the treatment of various menstrual problems like painful menstruation, prolonged menstrual bleeding etc. It acts as hormone replacement therapy and is used to treat menopause, primary ovarian failure, hypogonadism etc. It is also used to prevent unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses.

Side effects of Progyluton are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, indigestion, heartburn, changes in appetite, diarrhea or constipation, acnes, facial hair growth, impaired wound healing, easily bruising or bleeding, changes in body weight, sweating, headache, fatigue, weakness, tiredness, changes in sleep pattern, mood swings, depression, breast tenderness and enlargement, vaginal discharge, changes in sexual drive, vaginal dryness, vaginal bleeding, allergic reactions etc.

Combined estrogen and progesterone therapy can increase the risks of developing various tumors or malignancies like endometrial hyperplasia or endometrial malignancies, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, liver tumor etc. There is no known interactions were found in between Progyluton with chemotherapy or radiotherapy. So, you should follow your doctor's advice and inform him or her in case of any side effects.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
