Brief Answer:
yes you can take Rantac medicine now .

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Thanks for consulting Healthcare magic .
This is Dr. Priyanka Tiwari answering your query .

Read your query and understand your concern . As you are asking about Rantac YES you can take medicine with or without food . Rantac help in reducing the amount of acid in your stomach. To prevent heart burn and acid indigestion Rantac is given 30 to 60 minute before taking breakfast . As far as heavy swelling is concerned after extraction it can be due to bone cutting surgical removal of tooth result in inflammatory swelling and pain .
Nothing to be worried so much you will be fine in 5 - 6 days . Take proper course of antibiotic prescribed by your dentist . Follow post operative procedures . Do saline gargling .

Hope I have answered your query .
If you have further query I will be happy to help.

i have been told to use ice cube over swelling part from outside, not to use hot water, not to finger or brush over portion under treatment.are these advises ok.you suggested to do saline gargling.do you mean to add salt in slightly hot water and do or something else and how many times. what about hot food.advised to eat cold things and icecream, is it helpful?doctor told me that clotted blood will fill the gap where the tooth was.if i use warm water,i think the clotted blood will come out.am i correct?pls help.thank you.

All advises are ok .

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX ,

Welcome again

Read your query yes you can use ice cube over swelling part from outside . Dont use hot water , finger or brush over or near extraction socket . Dont eat hot food , yes you can eat cold things like ice cream it will be good for you . You can do saline rinses by putting salt in slight warm water after 24 hours of extraction . Dont do vigrous rinsing . When you do vigrous rinsing there are chances of clot dislodgement . All postextraction instructions given by your dentist is ok . Dont be worried so much you will be fine in one week . Take proper course of medicine prescribed by your dentist .

Hope I have answered your query .

Brief Answer:
warm saline rinses , Lignocaine gel , vitamin B12 .

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX ,

Welcome again

Read your query and I have seen image you have attached as far as I have observed white portion in socket can be food depostion or due to healing of socket . To confirm whether tooth is removed completely or not you have to go for Investigation intraoral periapical rdiograph . There is nothing to be worried so much I have seen healing is completed about 70 percent but there is slight swelling is present for this I will suggest you to Do warm saline rinses 3 to 4 times a day . For sweling you can take medicine like serratiopeptidase by consulting with local doctor. Complete course of antibiotic prescribed by your dentist . For mouth ulcer you can apply ointment containing Lignocaine gel like Mugel , Mucopain or Dologel and take vitamin B complex tablets .

Hope this will help you .
If you have further query feel free to ask i will be happy to help.
