Can I Take Solian Together With Keppra?

Thanks beforehand, XXXXXXX
Hi dear , solian does not block keppra.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I admire you for positive outlook.
I understand your concern at drug drug interaction.
Solian contain amisulpiride which is atypical anti psychotic.
Keppra contain leveteracitam, which is mainly used as anti consultant and partly used as mood stabilizer.
I guess this both the drugs has different mechanism of action and difference in metabolism properties.
Lets see some differences.
Solian mainly metabolize by liver through CYP system and excrete through kidney in unchanged form.
Keppra is not metabolized through the hepatic CYP system. Its metabolism involves hydrolysis of its acetamide group.
So there is very less chance of drug interaction with other drugs because difference in their metabolism.
I would prefer both the drugs together in my patient.
Regarding lexapro, it has some interaction with solian but in higher doses.
You are taking very low dose of lexpro and minimal dose of solian.
So with that dose, significant interaction is not possible.
As solian excrete unchanged through kidney,so solian can not block keppra in the kidney
Still you have query than revert back.
Always here to help you.
Thank you.
