Would Oxyelite Pro React Badly With The Other Medications?

I currently take many prescription drugs, including adderol, lexapro, lamactil, dexilant, nuvaring and synthroid. Will any of these interact badly with Oxy Elite Pro? I understand that it is a stimulant much like the adderol and am wondering if it would be harmful to be taking both of them at the same time. Also, I have hypothroidism that is under control but I dont want to risk negative interactions.

Hi,

It is always important to consult with your healthcare provider before taking any new supplements or medications, especially if you are already taking prescription drugs. Oxyelite pro is a dietary supplement marketed as a weight loss and energy-boosting supplement. It contains several ingredients, including caffeine, yohimbine, and 1,3-dimethylamylamine (DMAA), that may interact with prescription drugs.

In your case, since you are taking several prescription medications, it is crucial to check with your healthcare provider whether it is safe to take Oxyelite pro alongside your current medications. Some of the ingredients in Oxyelite pro, such as caffeine and DMAA, can interact with other drugs and may cause adverse effects, especially if taken in high doses.

For example, caffeine can increase the effects of Adderall, which may cause agitation, nervousness, and increased heart rate. Yohimbine may interact with Lexapro, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), and increase the risk of serotonin syndrome. DMAA may interact with Lamictal and increase the risk of seizures. Additionally, Oxyelite pro may affect thyroid hormone levels, which can be a concern for people with hypothyroidism.

Therefore, it is essential to speak with your healthcare provider before taking Oxyelite pro or any other supplements, to ensure that they are safe to take with your current medications and medical conditions. Your healthcare provider may also be able to guide safe dosages and potential side effects of the supplement.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
