Can I Take Vigamox And Azee Together For Red Eye?

Question: Hi Doctor...Since yesterday i have fever, Sore in upper part of the throat, sneezing and headache. Also, yesterday, some detergent mixed water went inside my right eye accidentally. When i woke up today morning my right eye was red and there was white liquid discharge, along with fever and sore throat. I Consulted a Physician and a ophthalmologist. Physician told me i have upper repiratory infection and gave AZEE-500(1/day for 3 days) and ALERID. Ophthalmologist gave me Vigamox eye drops for Bacterial conjunctivitis and Refresh Liquigel. My question is would there be any issue if i use Vigamox eye drops and AZEE-500(Antibiotic) at the same time? Also, are these drugs safe to use?

Both medicines can be used together with no interactions.
In fact Azithromycin would also help in conjunctivitis issue
You can safely use these medicines together.
As far as side effects are concerned any one can have side effect with any medicine. However these medicines are relatively very safe. People rarely get side effects from these.

Yes all my questions have been answered very well...One more question. Physician had prescribed me ASCORIL-D cough syrup but unable to read dosage correctly in the prescription. What is the usual dosage for ASCORIL-D cough syrup and also should it be taken before or after the food?

Hello Doctor.. I have upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. Iam currently on medication with gave AZEE-500(1 in afternoon for 3 days), AtoZ NS and Vigamox eye drops. Iam having loose motion and i need to travel by train today evening. What should i do to stop loose motion, (i think it is because of the AZEE-500)? Will Sporlac help? IF yes, what is the dosage and should i have if before or after having food?

You can take Sporolac XXXXXXX 3 times a day. It should be taken with a gap of an hour from meals.

This also happens due to medicines. This is basically stomach upset.
I would advise you to take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone like Pantocid DSR once a day for 3 days.
This feeling of nausea would get fine.

Hi Doctor....Fever subsided, but conjunctivitis still recovering with Vigamox tablets.. I have a new problem, which is pain in the soft palate in the mouth...Whenever iam about to swallow something i get that pain. Is that something due to the bacterial infection ? I have taken 3 days course of AZEE-500 as of now.

Also, is it safe to take Bendex-400 for itchy bottom ?

Dear Friend.
It seems you have developed oral ulcers due to antibiotic treatment and due to dietary deficiency in illness.
Take a multivitamin combination containing Zinc like Cap Zevit once a day for 5 days.
Along with this continue with eye drops as advised by your doctor. Also continue Pantocid DSR once a day for 5 days.
In case you have severe pain due to ulcers you can apply Dologel mouth solution on ulcers especially 10 minutes before meals.
No need to take any other medicines.
Regarding Bendex its a medicine for helminthic Infection. It won't help you in itch bottom. Give in Detail what you mean by itchy bottom. Is that in groins? Since when are you having it?

Iam already taking AtoZ NS tablets..It'll be fine or i need to take Cap Zevit? If Yes, should i eat Cap Zevit after food?

I have itchness in anal area at the rectum. It has there since 2 days(prominent at night)

I prefer to give Zevit because it contains good quantity of Zinc.
As far as anal itching is considered, Bendex would help you only if that itching is due to worm infestation. As such there is no harm in killing the worms by these medicines but I prefer to use Mebandazole 100 mg twice daily for 3 days for this purpose as it is safer then Bendex.
Also check out in stools in morning if you are passing any white thready like worms.

Hi doctor, I stopped having azithromycin on 6th sept, and now when u got up today morning Iam getting vomiting sensation badly.... Also I couldn't get sleep the whole night and got panic attack as to why Iam not able to get sleep... Could this be due to azee-500?

This unlikely to be due to Azithromycin now.
This might be due to stomach upset.
I advised you in my previous answers to take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone. I suppose you are not taking that.
Start taking that and continue for 5 days.
Take soft, bland diet.
Stay healthy.
