Question : Can i take antiworming medicie while breastfeeding?
Brief Answer:
yes you can take
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Albendazole and it's metabolites are minimally excreted in breast milk.
A single dose of 400mg taken by mothers has been proven safe with no adverse effects on their newborns.
World health organisation has concluded that it is safe for mothers to take one dose during breast feeding.
I would recommend one dose .
Don't worry. Avoid repeat dose.

Brief Answer:
yes you can do that
Detailed Answer:
Yes you can stop feeding for a few days and then resume after taking second dose. 5 days would be enough for the drug to clear your system.
