Hi,
If it is scabies, then none of the medicines prescribed to you is working against scabies. Also, if it is urticaria, then why in the beginning, a steroid (Omnacortil) is being prescribed. An anti-allergic like
Levocetirizine may be sufficient. If it does not give relief in symptoms, then after a few days, a steroid may be added. Also, in your prescription, there seems no justification of an anti-biotic (
Azithromycin), only indication being, if the scabies is also infected scabies.
Albendazole is an anti-worm & its prescription may be justified, if
worm infection is thought as a cause of urticaria. Perhaps, ideal prescription in your case would have been, some anti scabies lotion or ointment gamabenzahexine or Permethrin etc., to be used locally and an anti-allergic like Levocetirizine might be added to take care of itching of scabies as well as urticaria. To be more effective against scabies
Ivermectin 12mg,single dose orally might have been added.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
