Can Indigested Pieces Of Chicken Chunks Cause Any Harm?

Question: howdy - swallowed large pieces of chicken (my bad) which promptly cause painful peristalsis. this went on for over one hour, i was cold, clammy, sweaty. i could feel the pain subside as the "bolus" approached my stomach, but it did not go away. ultimately, i vomited up chewed but undigested chicken. i was scared, for sure. i am not sure if any of the chicken entered my stomach. ive had this before, but not to this time extent. i know i have to chew up smaller pieces of chicken (breast) more thoroughly -- if i ever have chicken again. this does not happen with other food. wonder if there is an obstruction somewhere?

There was no obstruction as if there was any then that piece would not had reached your stomach and then again come out. Also as this does not happens with other foods, so this conclusively rules out obstruction.

It was only because you had not chewed your chicken properly and it can reoccur if you will do that again.

thank you - i think i will just avoid dry chicken!!! its just not worth the hassle!! of course, i might consider taking my time when eating and chewing thoroughly - that's a novel idea. :):)
